You cannot. I recently was wrongly terminated there being falsely accused for being “high” at work. Even though I was just exhausted because of a recent break up and sleeping on a couch at a friends for a few hours the night before. So some associates told management I was “high”. I recently got my medical cannabis card. I had used some the day or two before for my condition. And so they wanted to immediately take me to get a blood and urine drug test which would show up as positive, instead of a mouth swab which would show I had nothing in my system at the time. . But a mouth swab test would have shown I was not high at the time. I’m beyond upset about the whole thing.

Home Depot Shifts Coverage For Part
The worlds largest home improvement retail chain announced its move shortly after a similar announcement from Trader Joes Co, a popular privately held grocery chain.
Home Depots change would affect roughly 20,000 part-time workers who previously had chosen the limited liability medical plan the company offered, spokesman Stephen Holmes said.
After Dec. 31, companies can no longer offer those plans under the health law, also known as Obamacare.
Were going to shift them over to the public exchanges, where there are more options, Holmes said.
The public exchanges being set up under the law will allow individuals to buy government-subsidized healthcare based on income. Enrollment begins on Oct. 1.
Until now, many restaurants and retailers offered workers limited liability plans that often provided less than $5,000 in coverage.
Home Depots plans for part-time workers provided coverage of up to $20,000 depending on the plan and were administered by Aetna Inc.
Experts have said exchanges would provide more comprehensive coverage that may not cost more because government tax credits will help some workers offset premiums.
Some employers are opting to offer coverage through private health insurance changes.
Walgreen Co, the largest U.S. drugstore, and more than a dozen other large employers have said they would offer their employee insurance for 2014 through the Aon Hewitt Corporate Health Exchange.

Are Companies Required To Provide Health Insurance Coverage To Part
Clearly, most private and public-sector employers choose not to offer health insurance coverage to part-timers. Under federal law, no employer regardless of size is required to offer benefits like employer-sponsored health insurance to part-time employees, which the law defines as those working fewer than 30 hours per week for the same employer.
This is a problem for workers who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid and dont meet age or health eligibility criteria for Medicare.
Many part-time workers do receive subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, making it more affordable to purchase individual health care plans from private insurers through state-run or federal exchanges. But some workers earn too much to qualify for subsidies under the ACA, putting exchange-based individual or family insurance policies out of reach.
Affordable health care options do exist for people without health insurance: brokers likeeHealth, private high-deductible health plans paired with health savings accounts , and health insurance alternatives likeMedi-Share. None are perfect, however.
And while workers with suitable credit profiles can take out unsecured personal loans to cover unexpected health care costs, no one should have to choose between their health and credit utilization rate.
To make matters worse, some companies have scaled back or eliminated benefits packages for part-time workers in recent years.
